Review on Glyconutrients, How do they help us

The word nutraceuticals is an unofficial term that came from the combination of nutrition and pharmaceutical. The word is meant to describe natural food-based substances that have healing effects on the human body. Nutraceuticals is a term used by the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine for all natural, standardized, non-toxic dietary supplements designed to enhance and optimize the body system through improved nutrition.

Glyconutrients are a more specialized type of nutraceutical. They support the process our individual tissue cells use to recognize, and communicate with, each other more effectively.

Unlike other nutritional supplements, glyconutrients provide the monosaccharides recently identified as essential for good human health. Glyconutrients address the fundamental structure of the body. Rather than trying to de-toxify or add a generic ingredient like argenine to increase blood flow, we are dealing with the body's "garden".

How does a garden work ?
You need good soil, clean water, good seeds, clean air, and added ingredients to maintain the soil to keep out the weeds, and minimize the insects, right?

Well, how do commercial gardeners do this?

They add synthetic chemicals to kill the weeds and spray chemicals to eliminate the insects!

How do 'organic' gardeners do this?

They add more organic matter, include plants that are naturally antagonistic to insects, friendly insects ie ladybugs etc... and then they collect the seeds from healthy plants to replant.

Similarly, the medical community and even the alternative medicine community looks at the body's garden as something that needs to be 'added to' rather then simply improving the 'conditions' from which optimal health can develop.

They are either adding chemicals or adding specific, generic nutrients to deal with the body's manifestation, rather than looking at the fundamental biochemistry.

Do you know why they do it that way?

They don't have any new technology like glyconutrients... these are the only food supplements that are fundamental and unique!

Think of mold for a minute...mold grows only so long as there is a dark, moist condition. Add light or dehydrate the area, and even though there are spores, no mold can grow! Isn't this the point with glyconutrients?

So... there are some incredibly interesting supplements out there. There are some really interesting areas of science being studied.

But.

NONE address this fundamental aspect of essential biochemistry like glyconutrients...

NONE! That is why it is so important to understand the basic difference.

Now, is it easy to talk about something so 'different' when people's minds are wrapped around, 'what diseases do the glyconutrients treat?' NONE! That is the challenge, because these glyconutrients don't 'treat diseases', so we hope you will see how unique and understand how truly wonderful and special glyconutrients really are.

Are nutraceuticals and glyconutrients specifically really a better solution for vibrant health and wellness?

We hope you decide to find out for yourself.
