The program has been created as general application for security cross platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams.It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and remote workstations. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the program via network that surveillance workstation can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached.
Software's modular composition considerably boosts reliability because all modules proceed as independent software. If one part stops working, other parts keep on working. For example if the "record" module freezes, "watchdog" starts over it right away that viewers don't notice anything because they are watching picture via a "playback" module.
The software does "repeated" recording that the "disk full" situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar.
The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant server using Web interface.
The software makes synchronized video playback for event analysis from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
