Review on Executive Wine Barrel Wall Clock

Head (Wine Barrel Top & Bottom) is from either retired French or American Oak Wine Barrels and lightly sanded.
Pieces are then immersed in Cabernet Sauvignon Lees from the award winning Vineyard of Red Feather Winery located in Livermore, Ca. Immersed in their 2010 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon over a period of time the Head is then air dried. There after coats of clear Shellac are applied.

Roman Numerals III, VI, IX & XII (when needed) are hand cut from Oak Chips compliments of the Martin Ranch Winery in California's Santa Cruz Mountains used in their Reds.

High Lighted Roman Numerals inlaid with Oyster Shell grace this "One of a Kind" Non-Cooperage Logo Head Clock.

Clock hanger is made from a piece of the Quarter Hoops.

There may be separation of the Head pieces due the Oak dehydrating and weathering. And over time I started to notice Coopers use different methods to hold their Heads together, Wooden Dowels , Nails and Dovetail Joints. Not wanting to compromise their work I've added a brace in back made from Quarter Hoops accomplishing two things.

1. Using Quarter Hoops keeps to re-purposed, reclaimed, recycled

2. It's highly unlikely to far apart.

This piece is nearly 100% re-purposed/recycled/reused except for Bolts, Clock Mechanism & Hands.
