Matthew 6 :
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Jesus said to seek first the kingdom of God in His Sermon on the Mount. We are to seek the things of God as a priority over the things of this world.

How do we enter the Kingdom of God?

You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and serve Him.

Who would enter the Kingdom of God?

John 3 : 3 Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."

John 3 : 5 Jesus answered, "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

John 3 : 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

John 3 : 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'

John 3 : 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

John 3 : 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaventhe Son of Man.

John 3 : 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,

John 3 : 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him."

John 3 : 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3 : 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 3 : 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 3 : 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

John 3 : 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.

John 3 : 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Revelation 19 :

7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.

8 Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear."
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God's holy people.)

9 Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And he added, "These are the true words of God."

Who are those invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb?

Everybody who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

But we need to look at the Parable of the Ten Virgins..

Matthew 25 :
The Parable of the Ten Virgins

1 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 "At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
7 "Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8 The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
9 "'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
10 "But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 "Later the others also came. 'Lord, Lord,' they said, 'open the door for us!'
12 "But he replied, 'Truly I tell you, I don't know you.'
13 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Five of the virgins were wise and five were foolish. Just who are these 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins?
Al 10 virgins carried lamps. The lamp is often pictured in scripture as the spirit of a person.

Proverbs 20 : 27 NKJV
The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart.

So the lamp of the Lord is the spirit of man.
There is a flame present and visible to others.
Man was created to walk and live in God.
He was created and saved not just for a mansion in heaven but to showcase the works and the fruits of His Holy Spirit here on earth. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God manifests the Christian graces. They are the fruit of the Holy Spirit ( Galatians 5 : 22 - 23 )

In the parable of the ten virgins the Oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the anointing of Gods presence in your life.

The wise virgins had the extra oil with them on their person. The extra oil of Light came from an external source. The extra oil supply was separate from the oil they had within the lamp of their own spirit. The extra Oil comes from the Holy Spirit. He is always with us on our pilgrimage. He is our Strengthener and our Guide. This is not of ourselves. This is the gift of God.

All the virgins were in the same predicament. As the midnight hour approached they had all come to a moment of crises. Both the wise and the foolish were running low on oil. The difference between the wise and the foolish was that the wise had looked around them and seen that the darkness was coming. They made preparations for the coming night - Revelations 19 : 7 For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
The lamps of the wise virgins had been recharged and were burning brightly.

For the foolish it was a different story. They had not prepared for the midnight hour. They were in a state of high anxiety and dismayed because their lamps were fading and approaching burnout.

The apostle Paul wrote, "Now the works of the flesh are plain: immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (Galatians 5:19-21, RSV, emphasis added).
