Review on Bose MIE2 Mobile Headset

A week ago my aging headset for my iPhone 4 had finally gotten to the point that it was time for it to retire. While doing a bit of research for a new headset I had seen ads here in downtown San Francisco for this MIE2 headset from Bose.

I had never owned a Bose product before, but have heard the superior sound quality and always had an interest in one day owning either one of their Radios or a similar product.

I decided that based on their history I would put down the $129 for a headset and trust the reviews and the brand name. I wasn't lead astray.

This headset is top-quality and the sound is even better. My calls are also very good and one very interesting thing to me is the Voice Control on the iPhone works properly now. Before, it would either dial a different number or do nothing at all when I would give it a command. Now, with this Bose MIE2 headset, it understands my commands every time.

My only gripe is that the none of the Stayhear silicone tips don't do anything to block outside noises like other headsets. It's been a bit of a change of pace from my old headset, but I'm not going to let that stop me from returning this one.

If you're in the market for a new headset for your cell phone give this one a close look. The Stayhear tips work as advertised. At times it might feel like the ear pieces might come out of your ears, but they don't.
