APSense Groups allow you to connect with other APSense members through shared common ground. It also allows you to meet and get to know members much better than if you are simply posting aricles and comments. Groups allow you to build stronger relationships with others and discuss topics of shared interest.Groups based on 'opportunities' rarely do well, base your group on a common interest and you will get more members.
Groups should appeal to a wide variety of members, the more member potentially interested in your group the more members you will have.
Tie your group into other promotional tools such as eZines and Rev Pages.
Think carefully about what you want your group to be about. Members can only create a certain number of groups.
Make sure your group adds value to APSense! All groups are reviewed and approved by APSense before they are published. If it does not add value to the site, odds are it will be rejected.
