The words Year of the Goat adorn the bottom portion of the coins reverse. Typical for the Australian Lunar Series, the profile image of Queen Elizabeth II as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley graces the central part of the obverse side. Along the outside of the coins obverse are inscriptions which read Elizabeth II and Australia.
