Windows 8 Metro Version of Google Chrome now Available for Download

With the imminent release of Windows 8 on the horizon, browser makers have been hard at work on Metro versions of their product for Microsoft’s new system. This week Google has officially released its first Metro version of Chrome that you can download for your system right now.

Here is what the Start Screen Metro tile for Chrome looked like after setting it as the default browser on our system (after restarting our system once Windows updates were finished installing).

Special Note: You will need to download the Dev Channel release of Chrome in order to have the new Metro version installed on your system.
