Youth Volleyball Program Overview

The Youth volleyball near me delivers a premium sports facility, sports performance training, and pilates programs for athletes of all ages and levels.  The sports plex is the home court for Seal Beach Volleyball Club. Their all Skills Training focuses on individual breakdown for greater learning at a younger age. They cover passing, setting, hitting, and serving as our main skills.  The 6-8th grade will also work on some blocking techniques. Each session a player attends they will be given more challenging drills to increase their level of play. Participants may attend as many sessions within a year as they wish. The more training and breakdown of their skill the better they will become in ball control.

PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Performance Training includes: Comprehensive evaluations based on a functional movement screening that assesses each athlete’s needs, ‪Pre and post-assessments that include consultations with Athlete, Coaches, Parents, or guardians, Customized workouts based on the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses, Exercises specific to the athlete’s sport, Home exercise programs, Injury risk assessment, and performance readiness, Knowledgeable and experienced board-certified staff. Goals are achieving performance productivity, developing a strong, flexible body that is properly balanced while minimizing the risk of injury. Building a body that is Load Ready. They focus on improving the body so that it can perform to Maximum Potential.‬

ATHLETIC TRAINING

Their Certified Athletic Trainers are not just “trainers” or “personal trainers”. They are healthcare professionals who are qualified to assess fitness needs and design appropriate exercise regimens to reach specific fitness goals that encourage health and wellness. What makes Athletic Trainers unique is their ability to provide physical medicine and rehabilitation services. Athletic Trainers coordinate care with physicians and other health care professionals to optimize activity and participation in athletics, work, and life. Among some of the places they work include schools, colleges, professional, sports, clinics, performing arts, and hospitals. Athletic Trainers must obtain, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and must pass a comprehensive exam to earn the ATC credential. They must participate in continuing education courses to keep their certification current.

PILATES

Their State-of-the-Art Studio in houses almost every piece of Pilates equipment imaginable to tailor your workouts. Their instruction offers an extensive background in helping all students with strengthening, flexibility, and core stabilization.  They offer a variety of classes with days and times to choose from, or you can schedule individual sessions.  

They have a league for every season: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.  Each League has levels to meet the needs of the players.  They are designed to meet the skill level and physical and mental maturity of their specific grades. Their leagues are different!!! Their emphasis is on becoming a better player through individual technique and improvement while developing the game aspects.
