You're Still A Newbie If

by Paul Hines Health & Wellness Rep.

Today I got a wakeup call when I spoke to a REAL Marketer and here I thought I knew a little something, I knew so much that I couldn't figure out why I was still struggling in Network Marketing and the reason was staring me dead in the face all the time. I'm going to make this post short and sweet so I can get to the meat and potatoes of my experience. Below are a few things that should let you know if you're really ready to step up your game and take things to the next level.

You're still a newbie if:

1. When you're asked by a real Marketer what you're doing and when you tell them they laugh.

2. You have no server space.

3. You have no autoresponder.

4. You have no domain name.

5. You're not laser focused.

6. You have no idea how to create and keep a list.

7. You have no list.

8. You're working like a dog building someone else's list.

9. You have no hosting account.

10. You have no idea what a C-Panel is.

11. Most of the crap online begins to look real interesting to you.

12. You don't know how to manage your time.

13. You haven't identified your niche yet.

I'm personally working on all these items, I had a small clue, but I did say small, the truth can be a humbling experience. The truth will do one of 2 things to you, It will either paralyze you or get you motivated. The truth hurts first then it heals.

Man, you just described 99 % of the biz social network members, IMHO. Many believe a list is getting people in your downline on MLMs.

@ Paul: I'm a newbie. I know it and admit it. The day I will have reached my goal, I will stop calling myself a newbie (might still take some time). And point 13: To be honest I'm not sure I really found it!
@ Philippe: How comes you're always a step ahead of me? :)

About to get to level 8, I think, if my deductions are correct, cause I see level 8 people have more than 5,000 HPs, I have 4,991 I look forward to next weekend :)

???

For 3 seconds, I was wondering what you meant, Eric. Then I got your meaning. My friend, some here would love that I get a lot of negative HPs LOL

Well Paul I do not consider you a newbie when I read the above article. The majority here will never find out because all they do is post links. Others need years to find out the points listed in your article. Knowing and acknowledging the weak points is half of solving these issues. You said you are already working on them. WTG you'll get there.

I agree with Paula too Paul. Being a Newbie for a long time for me too. It took a while for me to learn about all that is needed to learn how to do this marketing. Trying to do it all at once can lead to info overload and then chaos. The healing has begun for me here at Apsense.

Chaos and hectic, that happens even sometimes to the experienced sometimes. You can make a planning but something unexpected can turn up that needs attention more urgent than the task you had planned. But that is also why I like it so much. No day is the same and not a day is boring. Lol, with the exception of the days I need to sort out my stuff for Dutch taxes.
