You can prevent caries!

う蝕の基本的な予防法は、

①虫歯の餌となる砂糖を減らす

②ブラッシングで虫歯菌を減らす

③フッ化物を使用して歯を強くする

この3つがポイントとなります。


砂糖などの虫歯菌の餌を減らすには、摂取量を減らすことも大切ですが、間食の回数を減らし、尚且つお口の中に残りにくい物を選ぶ配慮と規則正しい食生活をすることが必要です。

スポーツドリンク、缶コーヒー、果物などに含まれる糖分にも注意してください。

ブラッシングは1日2〜3回、食後と就寝前に丁寧に磨き、フッ化物入りの歯磨き剤を使うとより効果的です。

フッ化物は歯を強くするだけでなく、再石灰化を促進します。フッ化物が長くお口の中に残っている程、再石灰化は促進されます。

なので、ブラッシングの後はごく少量の水で1度だけゆすぐようにした方がフッ化物がお口の中に長く留まります。
