Internationally renowned football club, Arsenal signed a landmark agreement endorsing a crypto-currency. The British Premier League team’s sponsorship deal with the iGaming platform contributor is claimed to be the first partnership between a major sports team and a crypto-currency provider.
This joint venture will spot Cashbet given the prominent position at the club’s Emirates Stadium during home games. The contract will see the company’s new token, CashBet Coin, being promoted at Arsenal’s Premier League home games at the Emirates Stadium in London, whereas the CashBet can utilize the Arsenal brand name across its ICO endorsements.
In a press release on 24th Jan 2018 CashBet CEO and founder Dr. Mike Reaves stated:
“With our ICO for CashBet Coin, we are vigorously targeting an international, multi-billion dollar marketplace of iGaming content providers, operators, and players. We are pleased to do so in a joint venture with one of world’s football true giant in Arsenal, permitting us to put up our brand name and connect the audience in a meaningful way.”
Reaves further clarified in a different release that the preface of the token will facilitate operators to resolve major problems facing crypto-currency-based casinos which is “speed, trust, and cost” and the addition of the token is expected to create the platform more cost-effective and scalable.
Incorporating blockchain into the CashBet platform is going to unlock recent markets by “democratizing access” for a fresh group of clients who at present are not properly served by the banks. The main aim of Cashbet coin is to use them across the company’s gaming platform and the company anticipates that the auction will elevate between $40 million–$70 million. The ICO presale kicked off on 24th Jan 2018 & will end on 20th Feb. 2018, unless the hard capital is accomplished before that date. The public sale will be held from 20th March 2018 to 27th April 2018.
