Why Some People Prefer MacBooks

If there is one highly debated topic in the tech-world, it would be the question of preference between Mac or PC. And this article does not wish to further break it down until we are left with the shallowest of reasons why you should buy either of the two. Instead, we will simply focus on why some people seem to favour this Apple product, through and through.

In the article of Michal Smelser titled 8 Reasons Why I Love My MacBook for the website theodysseyonline.com she wrote, “I'm not a tech person. In my personal experience, the people who know the most about technology prefer PC because they understand what they're doing. Apple's operating system is very simple, clear-cut, and user-friendly. In addition, while some troubleshooting issues are extremely complicated to fix, Apple has a customer support system like no other. The closest Apple store where I live while not at college is in a mall, just a few minutes walk from a Microsoft store. The Microsoft store is almost always empty because Microsoft users don't generally need help with their computers because they know what they're doing, while Apple costumers have to make an appointment if they don't want to wait a few hours to be helped. The store is always packed, and walking in is like going to the midnight release of the movie of the year.”

Sheila Marie, who vows to being a loyal patron of Apple products, mentioned how she admires Apple for being customer-oriented, citing that her recent trip to an apple macbook service centre in Singapore was very positive, enlightening, and pleasant, “ I was just in this apple authorised service center a couple of weeks back to ask for help about the files I accidentally deleted, and I cannot find any trash bin or some sort—and I was hoping I can still retrieve some of my life’s works. I was fortunate that these people working in the center walked me through the basics of retrieving, and everyone was just very accommodating. I think, these people were trained not only to be good at troubleshooting but to be professional in terms of handling customers too. Has it been in another computer repair center, I may have never understood more, and I might have even get laughed at for being too naïve. And this is why I love Apple products. I am assured that I can easily buy spare parts, can easily find information online about their company, and service centers are always reliable. Transparency and artistry are two things I love about Apple too. I can’t see myself buying any other brand.” And true enough macbook service, not only in Singapore, but all across the globe has been more than satisfying to loyal customers.

Vern Lovic in his article 25 Reasons I Love Writing with My MacBook Air Notebook in 2017  in his own website cited  iBooks store access as one of the things he loves about MacBook, “ Not just access, but Apple gives you a free to download program called, “iBooks Author” which gives you an ideal way to create pre-formatted eBooks for the store. You just add your own text and photos and publish the book in the Apple iTunes iBooks store. There is a separate option that turns your newly created book into a PDF file – and you can sell that anywhere you want.”
