- Location: You might have really good reviews about a certain skin care clinic, but if you need to spend half a day, just getting there, it might not be worth it. Most skin care procedures will require more than one sitting, which means that you will have to keep going back, and choosing a clinic that is really far from where you live or work could prove to be quite troublesome. Choose a clinic that has good reputation and is located near to where you live or work, so that you can go as and when you need to.
- Reviews: Before finalising on a clinic, you need to spend a little bit of time reading reviews online about the clinics. These reviews will give you a fair idea about how good or bad the particular clinic is. Make sure you read the customer testimonials, because if a clinic has several bad testimonials, you might want to steer clear of the same.
- Free consultation: When you call to make an enquiry, ask the clinic if they offer a free consultation, because many of the good clinics, will offer you a free first consultation. In this, they will give you a basic examination, diagnose the main problems with your skin and offer a course of action. Ideally, this should be a no-strings attached appointment and if you are not satisfied, you could always walk away.
- Licences and permits: You need to remember that the procedures you are planning to get are medical or semi-medical in nature. This means that wherever you are getting the procedure done, the clinic and the professionals practising there, need to have all the necessary permits and licenses. In most of the good clinics, all these certifications, licenses and permits will be kept on display and you should be able to see them with ease.
- Equipment: Whether you are looking for a good skin care clinic in Delhi or Mumbai, the one thing that you need to keep in mind is the equipment being used needs to be modern and up to date. You should be able to find this information on the clinic’s website or you could ask for a personal tour, wherein you can see all the equipment personally. Do ask about the equipment, including what is used for which procedure.
- Therapists/professionals: This is perhaps the most important aspect of choosing a good clinic, because in the hands of an inexperienced professional, even the best equipment will be useless. When a therapist is experienced, they will be able to judge your skin problems with ease and suggest the best course of action for the same. In addition, they will be able to complete the procedure with precision and expertise, giving you the best results possible.
- Payment options: This might seem like a frivolous detail to many, but the truth is that there are several skin care procedures, that are not easy on the pocket. In case you are getting the treatment done at a clinic where they accept only cash, you might be in a lot of trouble. So, it is important that you look at a clinic, where you have the choice between multiple payment options, including credit card and perhaps even EMI.
By keeping all these pointers in mind, you should be able to choose a good skin care clinic, where you will get the procedure you desire and the results that you have in mind.
