What Is The Media Saying About The Ferguson Platinum Tv?

by Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager

They say that you shouldn’t always trust the media these days, but here at Ferguson TV, we sbeg to differ – at least as far as the news and reviews sites’ commentary on our own Platinum TVs is concerned!

You see, whether you’re in the market for a monster 65-inch TV or something as small as 32 inch, or you’re simply seeking the most impeccable audio quality and impressive Android smart TV features, the Ferguson Platinum TV has been thoroughly media-approved.

Here’s a sample of what we mean.

Everything you need in a modern TV”

The Mirror elected to review the 55-inch Ferguson Platinum TV – one of the three models in the range to boast 4K resolution, the others being the 50-inch and 65-inch TV – last October.

The newspaper’s technology and science reporter Jeff Parsons was impressed by the Platinum TV’s “Android smarts”, which he said enabled users to “get up and running with apps like YouTube and Netflix straight away. You can add your Google account and carry over your playlists seamlessly.”

But it was the TV’s sound that he declared to be “the real star... [it’s] deep and throaty thanks to the integrated sound bar”. It’s no surprise, then, that Parsons described the Platinum TV as offering “everything you need in a modern TV”.

A rich, deep bass and crisp, bright high notes”

It was the sound quality produced by the Ferguson Platinum TV that also especially attracted the notice of The Digital Lifestyle.com’s Richard Speed, who said the built-in sound bar delivered “a rich, deep bass and crisp, bright high notes.”

He said the soundbar represented “a vast improvement on what one would normally expect from a modern LCD TV with the added benefit of not requiring a rat’s nest of cables to set up.”

Straightforward design” suitable for “pretty much any kind of decor”

The no-nonsense aesthetic of the Ferguson Platinum TV attracted praise from Chris Barraclough, who – in his review for Recombu – marvelled at “a neat and simple design that’s easy on the eye... that straightforward design means the Platinum 4K TV will fit into pretty much any kind of decor”.

He concluded that the Platinum TV was “a spacious TV with a decent selection of ports and can be wall mounted if so desired, while the built-in sound bar provides quite powerful audio.”
