What is DASA.? | DASA 2016 Admissions

DASA-2016 Admissions would be coordinated by National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar for Engineering and Architecture in premier Indian colleges. Under the supervision of Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD), candidates who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/ Non-Resident Indians (FN/PIO/NRI) will be admitted in government engineering and technical institutes (Centrally Funded Technical Institutes). The candidates living abroad who want to take admission in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions can apply for admission under this scheme via DASA 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for DASA Undergraduate Engineering Admission 2016

Applicant must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary 10+2 or equivalent from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

Applicant must have completed successfully Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology) in 11th AND / OR 12th, as applicable in the respective boards.

Eligibility Criteria for DASA Postgraduate Engineering Admission 2016

Applicants should have passed the qualifying examination i.e. 4/5year undergraduate programme in Engineering / Technology or equivalent in relevant discipline for M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. / M.Des. / MURP and any UG degree for MBA programme from any system of education recognized as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities
