Web Store Mastery Review: Before You Buy Read This! Matt Clark's Web Store Mastery Is Live But Did You Know?...

By now most people selling on Amazon FBA are familiar with Matt Clark (and his partner Jason Katzenback).

They created the successful Amazon Selling Machine course. It's a course about selling physical (hard) products on Amazon FBA.

(It was originally sold as Amazon Selling Machines. But Since Amazon doesn't like entrepreneurs using their tradename many have been forced to change names or use the strange derivative "Azon" for Amazon products.)

I've heard Matt Clark claim that he, and Jason, earned approximately 16 million dollars from sales of the course.

It's no wonder since the course starts at $3,500 dollars. That's before you factor in upsells that drive it up to $4,000 dollars.

I think we both can agree that is a lot of money to spend on a training course.

So I was a bit surprised to open my email to find a NEW course from Matt Clark (apparently without Jason Katzenback) on selling products with his new course:

"Web Store Mastery"

Matt was very open about the fact that he originally started using this model; selling hard goods via a website using dropshipping.

Eventually he decided to use the services of Amazon FBA to sell the products because they would save him fulfillment time and money. They would also give him access to many millions of buyers with registered, 1-click, credit cards!

Creating the Web Store Mastery course looks like a return to his roots.

Of course when he originally started selling hard products online many of the top web store platforms didn't exist. A short list of these include:

Volusion
Bigcommerce
Shopify
web.com
Yahoo small business
squarespace
YourHappyClients

(Yes, there are dozens more).

These sites overcome many of the challenges that newbie store merchants would have to deal with especially with regards to payment processing and tracking metrics.

But, no matter how you slice it, (and perhaps why Matt has gone "into" selling training courses), the difficulty in finding product suppliers remains a huge barrier to dropshipping success.

Yeah, we all know the Google trick of typing in the name of the item and the words wholesale, distributors, manufacturers, etc. (Example: "silicone spatula + wholesale") to find suppliers.

But more often than not when you compare wholesale prices on sites like Alibaba, AliExpress, DHgate, etc. you will discover that their prices are only pennies less than the actual retail cost on sites like Amazon. When you factor in shipping and handling it's impossible to earn any profit.

In fact, Amazon, Google, and WalMart, "owns" the top listings when you do these searches. They simply pay for top ranking on Google for these searches. When coupled with their buying power and low prices it is very hard for the new entrepreneur to compete!

It's no wonder that Matt Clark has gone into the digital training course business.

There may be hope.
