Talwar, Happi is a B&W movie that takes you the good times of meaningful cinema.
The film stars Pankaj Kapoor in the lead role and has performed the role to precision.
Originally, it was made in colour but was then converted to Black-and-white which
expressively suits the theme of the film.

This is the story of a middle age naïve man, oblivious to the “social
obligations” he survives the ugly real world, while pursuing his journey to
happiness. The protagonist of the movie is shown as someone labelled as misfit
by society, who is subjected to brutal mockery by people.
Happi is the man who is unchanged by the grown-up world, and holds the
innocence even after being treated badly by the society. The movie is given
immensely emotional treatment, that will melt your heart and leave you in
tears.
The movie does remind us of the popular Joker movie by eminent Raj
Kapoor. Joker movie was an emotional drama film, that made us cry when Raju
(played by Raj Kapoor) made the audience laugh as a clown.
The storytelling style of the movie is greatly inspired by the iconic Charlie
Chaplin and in director’s words the lead role of the movie is homage to the
legendary artist.
