With the advent of the internet, especially after probably 2010, as the world recovered from the 2008 financial crisis; not only did the business domain evolve into a much more efficient structure, especially in terms of communication and new prospects, but the entire idea of marketing, public relations, etc. Slowly and gradually, as the internet was flooded with just so much content and articles by probably millions of businesses, the marginal value of each additional post has started falling even for those who were the pioneers in this domain.

With that kept in mind, this article intends to discuss what is called Search Engine Optimization, or SEO. According to searchengineland.com,

“SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines. All major search engines such as Google and Bing have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos, images or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Payment isn’t involved, as it is with paid search ads.”

With that kept in mind, let’s understand how one can master SEO Content Writing. The primary difference between SEO Content and the SEO writing associated with it from the rest is the use of certain keywords, labels, hashtags, etc. You see whenever a potential consumer searches a particular topic, she only types the primary, main, keywords associated with her query, and the rest is suggested by the search engines (Google, explorer, safari, etc.) algorithm.

Now, these algorithms are based on the number of times a certain phrase or keyword has been entered into the search engine’s system, basically the traffic involved with that keyword or the phrase. And therefore, the higher the potential for a certain keyword to be used, the higher is chance of traffic for a certain, in this case, your SEO content to come up at the top as the top 3 results. Resultantly, this not only increases the chances of your page getting noticed but also adds certain credibility to your page, considering a lot of people would then start consuming your authority as a form of education about the topic you’re discussing in the post; Thereby making you an authority in the said topic and domain likewise.

As difficult and tedious it may sound, SEO content writing isn’t necessarily difficult. With certain time and practice, it’ll become extremely easy for you to master SEO content writing. The following could be the things you keep in mind whilst working on SEO content:

  1. Search for SEO friendly words

Like /m about the specific keywords and phrases, it is extremely easy to find SEO friendly words and phrases associated with a certain topic online; in fact any topic online. While there are both free and premium-charges based internet services that offer you these SEO friendly terms, the only difference between these is the number of SEO friendly words and phrases that are made available for free of cost v. when charged for. However, with the already lengthy list of these words and phrases, it is still more than enough, for the number of SEO content friendly words even these free ones could offer you

  1. Use labels

Labels are basically drop-down menus and categories you put your articles and posts. Just like words and phrases, even the words and phrases used as labels work just great. So even if you were to post an article on a physics concept, if the “history” label of your page sees good traffic; even the physics one would do just fine if you label the post under “history” too. That’s just how SEO content can easily be nudged into inviting traffic.

  1. Cross-domain SEO terms

While SEO words and phrases are just the typical ones that are currently, while you’re writing trending on the internet space; at the end of the day, they’re still just words, how far can one subject-specific word take your article, right? It is always suggested that in writing your SEO content you go cross-domain; mix and match while using SEO terms. Relevantly substituting a word with another SEO friendly term that falls under the domain of economics, in a post about history, might just end up appearing on an economics student’s search, too; who knows?
