Treadmill For Home Use

by Rakib Sarwar Pharmacist, Blogger, Marketer

The treadmill is one of the most important equipment in the home gym, and sometimes the only one. Therefore, it is important that you need to buy it very consciously and "with your wise." Training on the treadmill can be a targeted workout, but it can also be a form of warm-up before the actual training. What parameters should pay attention to and whether it is worth having a treadmill at home?

What gives you treadmill training?

Running on a treadmill is much healthier and safer for the body than the traditional running on the outside, because it puts less pressure on the joints, and also because the running belt is even, and we do not risk being injured by slipping or curling. During the training on the treadmill, the muscles of the legs are engaged - two-headed and quadriceps of the thighs as well as the muscles of the lower leg, buttocks, abdomen, back and shoulder girdle. Treating on the treadmill allows you to increase muscle mass and lose unnecessary kilograms. During training, it is very important to maintain a proper body posture and to match the intensity of training and its length individually to suit your needs.

Advantages and disadvantages of having a treadmill at home

Having a folding treadmill in your own home brings many benefits. The biggest benefit is, of course, the fact that you can run in your home, regardless of the weather, in your own rhythm and according to your time preferences. What other benefits can be mentioned?

·         Availability of ready training plans that can be used in pursuing a goal.

·         The ability to create your own training programs.

·         Tilt adjustment: you can set, for example, uphill.

·         Shock absorbing systems protecting the joints.

·         A series of functions that monitor progress and also indicate the time, distance, number of calories burned and the pace of running.

·         The ability to do two or more things at once, e.g. Training + watching TV.

·         It helps in sleeping well.

The treadmill in your own home has not only advantages but also has some disadvantages. What can be included?  You need to have enough space to place your treadmills. If someone lives at home, he should not have a problem, but in blocks of flats inserting a treadmill can be quite a challenge. However, you can always use, for example, basement rooms or attics.

Another aspect is the rather loud work of the treadmill. Of course, there are treadmills louder and quieter, but all during the training "can be heard". When we live in a block of flats and have noise-sensitive neighbors, we may have unpleasantness.

Another issue is the financial issue: on the market, you can buy treadmills below 1000 dollars. However, it is worth investing and buying a more expensive treadmill to serve for many years, it was more stable, quieter and more durable. I am talking about 3,000 -5,000 dollars. Quite a large expense, however, it is worth it.
