Tools for Improved Productivity in Office 365

New Features Added

For the users who already have an Office 365 subscription, it is now even easier to get back to the document or the content on which they were working earlier. Now, there is a new section called ‘Recommended Section,’ to help you (the user) find out the documents that have been recently edited or added by your colleagues.

Also, with the new Recommended Section, new start pages are available for Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sway that provide you faster access to the files on which you are working.

Microsoft 365 Search Option

Searching through applications based on the type of document or file is a mess for everybody, and this search can be significantly longer in some peculiar cases. To overcome this problem, Microsoft introduced Microsoft 365 Search within Office 365 in the Web. It saves you from separate searches and allows you to look for any document, sites, people, apps, or whatever you’re looking for, in a single search, including the third-party applications a company uses.

The new search (Microsoft 365 Search) is available on Office.com. At the end of the year, it’ll appear on the top of the page, and in the upcoming months, the update will be integrated with the Office 365 applications.

Better Help and Support

In addition to the accessibility in the context of the document or the file, you were working on, extended (better) help and support will also make way to Office 365 Web applications. This improved help & support will offer tips (more info), recent support articles, and contextual help for even better assistance.

So, no matter which Office 365 app you are using, you would not be getting confused, throughout your work in progress, and if you do wish to know about something peculiarly, then search for latest support article within the app, and read-on to clear things out.
