by Abbi Clarke Traveler
One of the most advanced countries in the world, Tokyo is known for its skyscrapers, nightlife and also for the history it keeps! A must travel city, here's a quick guide for vacation planning of your trip to Tokyo. After the second world war, the way Tokyo has developed itself is quite remarkable. Tokyo is  still deeply rooted with the Japanese culture.

The world's largest populous metropolitan area in the world, Tokyo has numerous attractions which you just cannot miss. Tokyo is not just about skyscrapers and technology. It is also very culturally inclined. It has various museums which tease you with the traditional Japanese art and advancement of science and technology. No other city is as vibrant as Tokyo at night. The scintillating night life is one of the those things which you should experience, when in Tokyo. Binge in some authentic Japanese food including the much loved sushi at Ebisu.

If you have a thing for music, then Tokyo has peppy Karaoke scenes, too.

Sumo wrestling is one of the most important sports in Japan and you have to catch some action between two Sumo wrestlers at the Tokyo's National Sumo Hall. In order to get the 360 degree panoramic view of Japan, climb upto the top of the Tokyo tower, which is heavily influenced by Paris’s Eiffel Tower. You can also soak in the serene, calm atmosphere of Shinto Shrine which is one of the underrated gems of Tokyo. Other attractions include exploring the wilderness at Shinjuku Gyoen National Park or indulging in some window shopping at Daimaru department store.
