Baseball caps are pretty popular during
summertime and are very famous amongst people that like to protect themselves
from the strong sun rays. But when it's very hot outside it's pretty normal
that you sweat a lot and when this sweat transfers to the hat's fabric it turns
into a dark and greasy looking stain.
Here are some Cap Cleaner recipes
that will remove the stains easily.
Ordinary hair shampoos are designed to
dissolve body oils and grease and are a perfect cleaning agent for this type of
sweat stains. Take an old toothbrush and dip in some water. Apply a small
amount of shampoo directly onto the stained surface and rub it in with the
toothbrush. Rinse with water and then wash the cap in the washing machine.
The second cleaning recipe is with a meat
tenderizer. First, dampen the stained area with some water. Apply the meat
tenderizer to the stain and work it into the stain using your fingers or an old
toothbrush. Rinse and wash normally.
The third recipe for Top Hat Cleaners Austin
is with a paste made from baking soda and water. Pour some baking soda into a
bowl and slowly add water while mixing it with your finger until the substance
resembles a sticky paste. Apply the paste onto the stained surface. Take an old
toothbrush and dip into some white vinegar. Scrub the paste with the toothbrush
and afterward rinse with plain water.
Next recipe is with aspirin. Fill a 1/2 cup
of water and drop 2 aspirins inside. Stir the water until the aspirins
dissolve. Apply all of the mixtures onto the stain and leave it to sit for a
couple of hours. When the time has passed apply a few drops of liquid laundry
detergent onto the stain and scrub it with an old toothbrush. Rinse and wash it
in the washing machine as you usually do.
The final recipe is with ammonia. Take a
bowl and mix in it 1-part ammonia and 1-part water. Apply the mixture to the
stained area and scrub with a toothbrush. Wash it normally afterward.
Make sure that you wash the cap according
to the Washing Baseball Caps manufacturer's
instructions to avoid any damage.
