  • Many people enjoy being able to look out of the window as they work or when they take a short break. • Some people are also known to feel edgy if they are unable to see behind them, especially if there is a door or an opening there. This can also cause you to become startled if someone has managed to creep up without your noticing. If you continuously turn around to see what’s going on behind you, you can develop severe neck problems.

By placing a mirror in from of your desk, you can ensure that you can see exactly what is going on in the background simply be glancing up. If you have a window in front, hang a mirror nearby.

  • When dealing with smaller workplaces, many people are also forced to deal with darker corners and hallways. This can lead to an increase in the amount of artificial lighting that you use, which can actually cause eyestrain and headache problems amongst employees. It can also make your office interior design feel outdated and dingy.

By placing mirrors directly across from your windows, you can ensure that plenty of natural light is bounced around the space, which can help to make it feel brighter and more comfortable.

It can take less than a few hours to implement these tips into your current or new office interior design ensuring that you are able to combat each of the issues that we have outlined above. Many people are amazed at how useful simple windows and mirrors can be in ensuring that your workplace makes the most of the space it has been afforded and that your employees are comfortable and healthy.
