It is vital they attend these interviews since these help determine the communication skills one has and how they are capable of handling many different situation that occur on MBA jobs. They also carry a lot of business responsibility and must be confident to discuss different issues to avoid being blamed for negligence while at work.

It is important that CAT, CMAT and MBA candidates prepare for the personal and panel interview since they also play a vital role towards selection. It is important to learn to communicate freely rather than be nervous as many personal interviews today revolve around day to day issues rather than details. This means you need to be more observant to current affairs and learn to communicate freely whether you have an answer or not. Learn never to pause or get stuck when asked something as this would give a negative impact to the interviewer.

One could prepare for personal interview also by attending any personal interviews being held for jobs on your locality. You do not need to mention you are practicing for your CAT, CMAT or MBA but you could easily attend the personal interview to see how you will cope with the situation. Many MBA candidates are doing this today as it provides an accurate indication on how you would react to the real interview thus helping identify areas of weakness that need to be worked on and improved. It is vital that you do not mention you are practicing for MBA or CMAT personal interviews as it could lead to being dismissed rudely from the interview room.

Panel interview or groups discussion are harder to come by and for these a candidate must get in to a group of competent speakers who are confident of their speech and begin communicating with them. In many cases the first group discussion goes to waste since the new candidates prefer to sit and watch but this should also be the last time since being a MBA degree holder you will be expected to sell your expertise to different companies they may require your services. Today just having a CAT, CMAT or MBA degree does not mean you will secure a job and you must be fully prepared to be thoroughly scrutinized.
