In May, experts from Yale Medicine discussed a number of ways mindfulness can be helpful to people struggling with the pandemic’s effects. Anne Dutton, the director of Yale Stress Center's mindfulness education program, explained that mindfulness can stop the mind's "chatter" or ruminative thinking, which results in strong emotions like fear and anger.
