Why Do We Establish The Ganapati :

Every year, Lord Ganapati is established in the whole country, in the common language, they sit in Ganapati, but why? Do you know Why do We establish Ganapati Bappa for 10 days and worshiping them? Let's just tell you. Actually, according to our scriptures, The Mahabharata was composed by Maharishi Ved Vyas. But Maharishi didn't want to do the work of writing. Therefore, he prayed for Ganesh ji and asked Ganapati to write the Mahabharata. Ganapati agreed and started writing day and night and due to this, Ganesha had to suffer fatigue, but he can't drink water. Therefore, Vedavasa wrapped the clay paste to the body of Ganesha so that the temperature of Ganpati's body did not increase, and worshiped Ganesh on Bhadrapad Shukla Chaturthi. After drying the paste of the soil, Ganeshji's body got stiffened, for this reason, Ganesh ji also had a name as 'Parthiv Ganesh'.

The writing work of Mahabharata lasted for 10 days. Writing work finished to Anant Chaturdashi. Ved Vyas noticed that the body temperature of Ganapati ji has increased very much and the soil past on his body is drying down, so Veda Vyas put him in the water. In these ten days, Ved Vyas gave various substances for eating to Ganesha. From that time, the tradition of establishing a Ganapati was started. In these ten days, various foods of choice of Ganesha are offered.

In this celebration statue of Ganesh ji is established. Coconut, jaggery, modk, durva grass and red Hibiscus flower are dedicated to the statue of Ganesha by devotees with love and affection. In earlier times, Ganesh ji was worshiped all over the country in the same way, but now this festival has been celebrated at the state level. Now Ganesh ji is worshiped in all states according to their respective customs. Bappa is served for 10 days with great enthusiasm and immersed them after 10 days.
