by John Smith Freelancer

The Witcher series has received a lot of praise from fans all over the world. The fans not only appreciated the series but the books and games based on The Witcher. The first season of the Witcher series has already concluded last year. Now, the fans are wondering what is going to happen in the upcoming series of the Witcher. The fans have already got some indications of the further storyline of season 2 in the happenings of the last episode of season 1. The fans are speculating about the characters to be introduced in the second season and eager to know what will be the further storyline.

It is well known that the first season of the Witcher series was based on the first two novels, which are the collections of short stories, and the second season possibly is going to be inspired by the Blood of Elves. If the second season of the Witcher series is going to be based on the Blood of Elves, then the inclusion of some more Witchers in the series will become unavoidable, and the fans may meet with some more witchers having extraordinary magical powers.

The fans have already seen that Geralt is preparing for taking Ciri to Kaer Morhen so he could begin her training there. Kaer Morhen is an isolated island where witchers receive their instructions and go through mutations. Many years ago, some fanatics attacked the keep and killed the students and teachers as they thought that Witchers are the disgrace. Vesemir was the last Witcher who survived the attack, and the witchers recovered their numbers over the years.

Now, Since Geralt is taking Ciri to the Kaer Morhen for her training, it is quite sure that the fans will become familiar with some other witchers also as the Witchers will train Ciri. The fans may see the other two witchers, Lambert and Eskel, in the second season as these both are the friends of Geralt and will help in the training of Ciri. It would be interesting to see how Geralt interacts with them and how he deals with the problems arising during the training period of Ciri. Here, is some more insight into the characters of Eskel and Lambert who may appear in the second season of the Witcher series:-

Who is Eskel?

Eskel is a very close friend of Geralt and has completed his training with Geralt in the school of Wolf. He is very much close to Geralt if we talk about experience and skills. Both witchers, Geralt and Eskel, hold each other in high regard, and despite the fact that Eskel has the same level of expertise as Geralt has, he never got so much fame like Geralt, but he is never jealous of Geralt. It seems that Eskel is very much skilled in the sword combating, and also he is equally proficient in magical skills. Sometimes, it has also been postulated that he has more magically accomplished than Geralt. The fans may see the Eskel fighting with Ciri and Geralt as part of the training of Ciri in the upcoming season.

Who is Lambert?

Lambert is also one of the Witcher of the school of the Wolf, and he is the companion of both Eskel and Geralt. Lambert is also magically adept, and Geralt will rely on him too, along with Eskel, for the training of Ciri. He will assist Geralt in providing the training of melee combat to Ciri, and it would be interesting to see how Geralt is dealing with this inexperienced Witcher and how he handles the rude behavior of Lambert. Lambert felt jealous of Geralt as Lambert never got the same level of fame as Geralt has got even though Lambert is also magically adept. However, he is not harmful in his approaches, even having the feeling of jealousy for Geralt and has proved many times that he could go to any extent to protect the comrades and witchers of Kaer Morhen.
