The Ultimate Checklist to Deep Cleaning Your House

by Anika Dixit Blogger

Cleaning your house is all about dedication.

Even the tidiest homes need a good deep cleaning from time to time. To avoid being overwhelmed and stressed about how to and when to deep clean your house, it's always a good idea to break the process down into smaller bits which makes it a more manageable task.

With the best deep cleaning services in the city, you can also offload the stress and task both to them and let them do their work and give you the best result.

To get started, create a cleaning schedule, pick a room, and make a quick run through to the store. Post that, get ready to tackle all of the attributes that are to be covered in the deep cleaning.

Bathroom

If the normal cleaning elements like soap, detergent and water haven’t been doing the trick for getting your bathtub, grouts and fixtures sparkling clean then make a mixture of baking soda and water and take a scrubber to scrub the surfaces.

You can use a detail brush, or old toothbrush, to clean in and around the fixtures and grouts of the tiles.

Clean the shower head by soaking it in vinegar and water filled packet overnight. You can use the same to clean the grouts and spray one to one white vinegar and water mixture.

Once it begins to bubble up, wipe it off with a microfiber towel.

Kitchen

To clean the kitchen, the first step is to clear out all the leftover food, from the fridge, cabinets or the kitchen slabs. Then use lukewarm soapy water and a sponge to clean inside, outside and every corner of the kitchen.

Clean all cabinet and surface fronts by using a vacuum with the crevice attachment to clean out different corners in the cabinets and drawers.

Keep a regular check on the trash cans and dustbins and wash them with warm soapy water and a sponge once a week.

Dish washers and soaps are an essentially strong degreaser that helps break down any cooking oil residue and has landed throughout your kitchen.

Bedroom

Wash linens of the bed and the covers with detergent and lukewarm water, wash it every week and spray a lavender spray on it for better night time sleep. If you can easily get to move the bed or get behind your bed, clean behind the headboard and under your bed.

Wipe down all the furniture with a microfiber cloth.

Living room

Vacuum upholstery. Lift up the furniture and sofas to vacuum underneath. Use microfiber cloth to wipe down all furniture.

Conclusion

After you deep clean, it’s essential to maintain the tidiness of your home on an ongoing basis. In case if you cannot do all of these all at once or you could not follow the schedule you made, contact professional deep cleaning services to do the task for you.
