The Truth Regarding Internet Marketing Today

It’s a sad but true fact that these days programs fates are decided by their initial popularity regardless of whether they are real or not but that seems to be how the World of Internet Marketing has developed over the last year or two.

A sites fate is now decided by initial popularity and looks which is a real bad way of judging authenticity. Has anyone ever seen the movie “Pay-it-forward”? If you are an internet marketer and are looking to increase your presence as well as income on the net then this is a film you really must watch.

The premise of the film was simple enough. A young kid is given an assignment on how to put an end to poverty in the world and he comes up with the simple idea that if you have had help in your time of need all you need to do is pay-it-forward to someone else in need and the chain continues. You give something to someone and in order to repay you all they have to do is help someone else and so on.

It’s a fantastic idea and one that can really help a marketer build a downline and all it would cost you is something you would eventually get back ten times through commission.

Lets take a program that costs $10 to join. Either you are PIF’d into it by a friend or you pay yourself in, it doesn’t really make much difference until you offer to PIF a friend in who in turn PIF’s another friend in. By this point you already have 2 levels of commission coming in and if the trend were to continue within a few days to a few weeks you would be making 10 times more than what you originally paid out.

Thats the difference between a paying system with organization and a system that relies only on a one level commission structure.

A system with one level is usually only good for people who have the ability to bring in hundreds of members every week and realistically you are never going to see a considerable change in your ingoings to outgoings ratio because right now you just don’t have the reach you need to make these opportunities a success.

2 levels and 3, even 10+ levels are much easier to build and promote because they are relying on combined efforts and it’s not just you trying to build a downline so if you are a beginner you are advised to choose multi-level systems to compliment your program list.

A new program shows up nearly every day and within hours of it emerging you will probably be receiving a skype message, email, early warning but how are you supposed to know whether it is going to really make a difference?

The truth is you aren’t going to know and thats the power that big marketers have over the common beginner. Don’t let anyone ever tell you that making a proper income online is easy because it isn’t, in fact, this could be the hardest thing you could ever try to do in your lifetime!

This hard truth is only now being compounded by the sheer number of people who come online dreaming of becoming millionaires within months.

I’m going to say it’s impossible but i am not going to lie to you either and say that it’s easy because false-hope can only get you so far.

There are a few ways to speed up the process so you can at least start to make a real income but don’t expect to give up your full time job just yet.

The first is having a branded presence: You need to let people know you exist. The more people see a face or brand the more they begin to trust it and by this i don’t mean branding by programs. I mean branding by personality. Programs come and go but the one thing that remains constant and unchanging is you so use that to your advantage.

Your first task then is to create yourself a splash page personal to you with a pic of yourself on it.

With the Steps To Earn Money your laborious task of organizing and promoting individually is already taken care of so all you need to do is create a splash and tell people about how STEM has really focused your goals and can help them too. The more people see your face the more trust is built up and eventually they will want to see what you are offering them.

From that point you have accomplished something marketers are trying to do all the time, A connection to the online world but this is where you have to be careful now because where there is trust there is responsibility so try to only offer things that have personally worked for you otherwise they will associate the brand with mis-information and thats the last thing you want happening!

Where you promote your page is un-important because wherever there is traffic there are people watching and eventually you will see a real difference in your efforts.

I hope this has helped everyone realize that its not the program that makes you, it’s you that makes the program and without members a program is next to worthless.
