The sports watches with multiple features are becoming our daily companion

by Richard Rake Writer

The features of sports watches are being enhanced rapidly and we can say that if we are wearing one, it's not just a watch, but a complete information device on the wrist which stays with us as a daily companion. The watches have been well-advanced in designing and the use of technology and one example I would provide you with is the crown design in many sports watches from Uretilalt (in Danish sportsure Uretilalt) which is somewhat similar to the analog ones which can be rotated between screens. This improvement in design has brought a remarkable change in how sports watches look like.

The feature allows pulling out the crown after the laps have been recorded and can be used to access the memory or stored data. As far as the stopwatch of the sports watches is concerned, I would say that they have also improved well with appropriate, large and easy-to-read numbers on the screen. Many companies are also focusing on bringing out the watches with large buttons that can be easily pressed. This advancement in watch design has solved the complaints of many customers who really faced enormous difficulties in pressing the required button while performing different activities. I personally give credit to companies that responded to customer requirements and brought such improvements to sports watches.

The lap memory recording function of sports watches is one of my major requirements as it allows holding the marathon and speed sessions. But the important consideration is how the chronograph responds in holding the work out when it gets reset. Similarly, the watches are being offered to customers with the heart rate function with accurate monitor and easy-to-use interface. The important consideration in it is that the display should be crystal clear which can be seen even in tough outdoor conditions and the lap time should be displayed prominently on the large screen on each and every button press. The ability to scroll through the memory is also very important when it comes to sports watches and it wins when it is simple and intuitive.

I have always given importance to reading the numbers while running, so it really feels good when numbers are big in an appropriate angle. In addition to that, the design should be good by sitting comfortably on the wrist with easy-to-read digits with the functionality of choosing between large digits showing split times or laps. So I would advise you to choose your sports watches wisely and carefully. The buttons that are side-mounted with buttons of lap and stop need to be closer for easy pressing when needed.

Some other features that have impressed me in sports watches are: excellent memory of most of the watches with multiple lap storing ability with the feature of storing total time, average lap, best lap for each date, the countdown timer which allows to record different length countdowns simultaneously and pace calculator with the ability to indicate the average pace of the session.
