Royal Enfield has become one of the brands that continue to note remarkable success with their twin-cylinder motorbikes. Introduced in November 2018, the Royal Enfield twins has been continuously posting exciting sales figures since launch. Sales that stood at 325 units in the month of November 2018 reached 1,445 in the month of February and 1,700 unit in the last March.

Sales of the RE Continental GT and Interceptor 650 stood at 2,014 units is 2019 April. This is their highest monthly sales ever. This is much ahead of competitors like the KTM 390 Duke since they managed to sell only 507 units while TVS Apache RR 310 sold 183 units in the month of April 2019. It was even amongst rivals in the twin cylinder section where sales of the Royal Enfield 650 Twins saw outstanding outcomes. Sales of Yamaha YZF-R3 stood at only 40units in April while Kawasaki Ninja 300 of which only 90 units were sold.

The aspects, which contributed to the remarkable success of the Royal Enfield Continental GT and Interceptor 650 are legacy, power, usability, and of course, price. Besides the best Royal Enfield bikes till date, these two motorcycles are the value for money scheme in their category that has helped it in gaining the numbers. Jawa has not released the numbers of sales for April 2019.

RE 350 is the bestselling Royal Enfield bike that registers about 35,000 units sales each month. In terms of pricing, the RE Interceptor 650 is estimated at 2.48 lakhs whereas the Continental GT 650 is valued at Rs 2.57 lakhs. And these rates make them more affordable in comparison to the Kawasaki Ninja 300 priced at Rs.2.98 lakhs, the Yamaha YZF-R3 at Rs 3.5 lakhs, and KTM 390 Duke priced at Rs 2.45 lakhs.
