How many times have you posted contents on social media? How many posts did you share on it? How many people have you connected to your account? The answers for these questions explain how efficiently you use your social media account as part of your ad strategy. If you don’t use your social media sites effectively, you are losing a big opportunity to boost website traffic. And if you look at it, this kind of loss is a very big loss in terms of sales and conversions in the future.

One of the most common dilemmas of website masters using social media sites is that they can’t gain too many views on their post. It’s quite frustrating when you do your best in sharing and optimizing your contents, only to find out that they’d be earning only a dozen views (and worse, it doesn’t increase traffic at all). Sometimes, you’d just wonder how in the world other websites could pull it off.

  1. Your profile picture is the default profile picture of your social media site – Please, enough with the ghostly picture which has neither eyes nor mouth. Your social media fans are tired looking at your very dull picture default picture. Some say that you might even be clicked 7 times more if you have your own profile picture.  Change the way your social media traffic see your profile by adding your face or at least, the logo of your brand as your front face image.

  2. Your objectives are not yet confirmed by your connections – So what if you are the CEO of your own company? Do we know what you really want us to do? What is the original aim of your posts? Leaving your viewers clueless about your mission, vision and objective will not help you gain trust and loyalty. Build your own reputation first before you could send in-depth messages and posts to your viewers.

  3. You got blank details – So your social media traffic knew your name and your pic and your role on their lives as an advertiser, but how about your specific details? Where are you from? Where do you work? These simple questionable fields should be filled out to avoid doubt. Make sure that your information filled is already filled up with accurate information and ensure that you won’t miss a blank spot.
