The Overlooked Hybrid: Honda's Insight

by Taylor B. Finance Expert
Have you looked at the new Honda Insight? Sure, the Prius gets all the hype, buzz, and public attention, but the Insight posts nearly equivalent fuel economy ratings - you can still benefit from 43 miles per gallon at highway speeds from the 1.3-liter inline 4 hybrid.  With 98 hp available, it isn't the fastest car on the market, but hybrids never are (at least not yet).  This front-wheel drive 4-door hatchback will seat 2 front, 3 rear conveniently. Why don't we have a look at Insight crash protection and maintenance?
  1. Excellent Reliability
  2. Impressive Crash Ratings
What else would you expect from a Honda?

So how much does all of this cost, you ask? This will depend on a number of factors, not the least of which is how many options you want.  Plan to pay up to $23,100 for a fully loaded model, though prices start at about $19,800.

Have you thought yet about how you're going to pay for Insight?  Although it's less expensive than the Prius, it's still a good chunk of change to pay outright.  If you're like most buyers, you'll want to get your Honda financed.  For that, may we suggest Car Loans Minnesota?  They can help you find the auto loan you need at a rate that won't break the bank.

Thinking about buying your Insight used?  Then you'll want to check out Low Interest Used Car Loans.  After all, used cars have higher interest rates than new ones when you finance, so you'll want to get the lowest rate possible.
