Twitter was testing the new website version for a while, and now it is finally available. With the redesign, the company wanted to make this social media platform better than before and easy to use. It started testing the new design in January this year and made it available to a few selected users to try it out. According to their feedback and suggestions, the exclusive features and unique design of Twitter.com is here for everyone.

What are the best things about the revamped Twitter website?

As per Twitter, the new website is “faster, easier to navigate, and more personalized.” The significant change is, however, the new and better sidebar. Also, Trends for You and Who to Follow sections come replaced with the top-level menu items. They include Bookmarks, Explore tab, Lists, Messages, Notifications, and Profile. Explore tab was available earlier on the Twitter app only, but it is now available on the desktop Twitter version too.

Other than this, you get the option for seeing and sending DMs in a single view, the option of switching accounts directly through the sidebar, exclusive customization options like colors, the Dim and Lights Out dark modes, and themes.

All these things will definitely make regular Twitter users happy and add more excitement to the overall user experience. This new Twitter.com offers a better look and feel overall, improved performance, and manages to put the favorite features of users in the right place. Even Twitter is assuring people better features in the coming times to make things better than before. To be fair, Twitter still needs a lot of improvement. For example, it still lacks the edit option and allows harassing tweets and trolls.

Again, here are the main changes in points:

1. Users can find the ‘Explore’ tab on the desktop version of Twitter and easily check the live video and local moments from there.

2. There’s a dedicated navigation menu on the side that features Bookmarks, lists, and profile option.

3. Direct Messages comes with a larger view now, and you can easily see your conversation on display and respond to messages easily.

4. You can easily switch to other accounts with the use of the sidebar menu.

5. Along with color option and variety of themes, you get two dark mode options as well.
