The funniest shows to watch during the lockdown.
by agha raza aghaSo the coronavirus
is on the rise again and you have recently brought a new smart LED TV. Now you are wondering, how shall I pass the time?
Well, you can pass the time by watching some comedy shows on your Smart LED TV. The reason I am
recommending comedy shows is that they help elevate your mood. During the
pandemic, everyone needs a pick me up. You might have watched all the
mainstream shows, so I will not list them. Instead, I will list shows that most
of you probably haven’t yet seen.
You can use
your LED TV online to watch these
shows on Netflix as well. Now let us get to the main point. Here are the
funniest shows you can watch today:
Arrested development:
This
American sitcom was created by Mitchell Hurwitz. The show was aired on Fox for
three seasons and then had a slight set back. But thanks to popular demand with
was re-aired again. Arrested development features the Bluth family, which is a
group of dysfunctional family members living their day to day lives. The show
compromises of many gags and inside jokes that fans become accustomed to.
The show is
R rated, however, it is fairly clean, there is no use of about language, and
sex is also kept to a minimum. You can easily binge-watch a few episodes and is
an excellent way to kill off a few hours from your day.
Big Mouth
Big Mouth is
likely to make you somewhat uneasy, but that's sort of the point, as it goes
with many other adult-themed cartoons. The show sees producer Nick Kroll and
his friends literally jumping into an animated time machine to play far younger
versions of themselves, teenage tweens starting to date, watch porn, and
grapple with their emotions and sexuality — Netflix has created three seasons
so far and has already renewed the show for three more. The show is no holds
barred in features some exciting characters like the hormone monster, a singing
tampon, and the shame wizard.
Bojack Horseman
The animated
series from Netflix continues to highlight the depression, failure, and
slovenly actions that we loved in its first season, with plenty of sight gags
to lighten the mood. As BoJack lands his dream acting gig and his dream love,
BoJack climbs higher than ever, but life’s cruel hand holds him on his knees
again and again. BoJack Horseman asks us to chuckle in between these morose
moments — and we do, and we can't imagine life getting any worse for this
beleaguered horse, but somehow it does get worse. The show has a large fan base
and it continues to grow even after the season has ended.
Community
There is an
explanation why a loyal cult following for his six-season run was amassed by
Dan Harmon's community college ensemble sitcom, despite being almost always on
the verge of cancellation. The series centres on a lovable research community
of misfits played by comedy veterans and others on the verge of breaking out.
The
characters in the show are quite original and entertaining to watch. Moreover, it
is an excellent show to pass the time, while getting a few laughs. You will
learn to be a better person while being entertained at the same time.
Derry Girls
For some
laughs, teen shows are always fine, but few are as godforsaken hysterical as
Derry Girls. The Channel 4 / Netflix co-production of Catholic schoolgirls
living through the end of the Northern Ireland Troubles in the '90s is all
about their own, unfiltered teenage issues, and funny, outright lol. The whole
cast and their quirks are almost perfect; you'll find there's no other
fictional team you'd rather kick-back with after a short binge.
