Needle detector plays a vital role in the garment and apparel industry. The needle detector equipment performs the role of detecting the metal devices that are mistakenly left inside the finished garments. 3 The company should always ensure that the products should be passed through the needle detectors only during the end stage of production;

4 A separate record should always be maintained for all those batches of apparel that have already passed through the metal or needle detector and for those apparel that have yet to pass through the metal detector;

5 In case some metal contamination takes place even after passing the apparel through the needle detector, the apparel should be immediately kept aside and investigated thoroughly. If the metal is discovered and the apparel is re-detected successfully, then it should be returned to the normal stock immediately.

Therefore, we can conclude here that metal detector or needle detector plays an important role in the apparel and garment industry and their roles have been appreciated all over the globe.
