The difference between SEO and PPC

by Rahul V. Digital Marketing Company

SEO is fully based on quality content and smooth internal linking structure. The only issue with SEO is that it is not an instant process as the listing comes up organically. It also depends on the terms of the keyword used. However, once you get ranked the website will keep itself on the top list for a while even if you stop paying for an SEO. Dropping down the rank takes a larger period of time comparing to coming up. On the contrary, PPC or the Pay per click is completely different from SEO. This process is also known as the AdWords. It does not depend on the content or knowledge other than the keywords you want to use. You can bid for keywords from Google AdWords. Bidding brings you up on the first page of the paid listings of Google. The paid listing does not mix up with the organic listing; it has a column right on the top of the page tagged as AdWords. The biggest disadvantage of doing the AdWord is to be on the first page with a set number of clicks. Once you use your budget of clicks you will be removed. This means AdWord completely depend on the cash no matter how uniquely you design web pages.

Working method of SEO

The links that are used by the web designer allow the automated robots of a search engine to reach billions of interconnected documents on the web. These automated robots are called as crawlers or spiders. It is usually a great idea to use your keyword in your domain name. Once the engines find the interconnected documents they analyze the code from them and store selected pieces in a massive database. These databases can be recalled later when needed for a search query. To accomplish this monumental task which can be accessed within a fraction of the second, Google has constructed data centers all over the world. Search engines typically assume that the more popular a website, page or document is, the more valuable the information it contains. This assumption has proven a great success in terms of the user satisfaction with the search results. Popularity and relevance are not determined manually. Instead, the search engines employ mathematical equations or you can call them as algorithms to sort out the needle from the haystack. After that, the needle or the link gets ranked in order of quality. This quality depends on the web designing creativity like a relevant number of pages, good descriptive contents, image and video quality.
