The Conjuring 3: Which Character was Eliminated From The Movie and Why?

by Emma Daniel Content Writer
'The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It' is based on real events ... but with many creative freedoms; there is a quite important character who disappeared from history, do you know who he is and why?

Like the previous installments of the cinematic universe created by James Wan, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is based on real events, although we know that the classification is rather part of a very good advertising campaign.

This new installment, which marks the third in the individual story of Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga), dared to throw away the classic formula that The Conjuring had been handling : this time the action does not end with an exorcism, but that the work of demonologists extends to court with the famous murder case that gives the film its title. But how much of what we see on the screen is true? What is the character they eliminated?

THE HOMICIDE
The murder of Alan Bono (Ronnie Gene) occurs through the same method that we see in the tape, but the circumstances were diametrically different in reality. In an interview offered to People by those involved in the Cheyenne case, they declared Arne (Ruairi O'Connor) lost his temper when he saw that Bono harassed one of Debbie's (Sarah Catherine Hook) little cousins , girlfriend and later wife of the former.

According to Wanda, the defendant's sister who was also present in the altercation, Arne turned into someone aggressive who could not be stopped during the attack: "He turned into a stone, it was impossible for me to move him," the girl assured the magazine. The denouement is what we know, Bono died and Arne walked away from the scene in perplexity.

INCOMPLETE FAMILY
In The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It, we meet the Glatzel, who ask the best-known pair of demonologists in the United States for help to combat the demon that had lodged inside their little son David (Jullian Hilliard), only 10 years.
Ed and Lorraine successfully expel whatever was holding David prisoner, but before the exorcism was over, a demon entered Arne's body, who by then had moved into the Glatzel house to help his little brother-in-law to cope with possession.

A part of the Glatzel family agrees that both David and Arne had trances in which they talked about having seen the "beast", a terrifying black monster that stalked them at all times . In the film production directed by  Michael Chaves , this detail is not specified much and, instead, a satanic priestess (Eugenie Bondurant) is integrated into the story to complicate the plot.

The Glatzel family consisted of five people, but in the adaptation we only know four. And it is not that Chaves and his crew have done the wrong accounts, but that Carl - another of the Glatzel children - attacked Lorraine Warren in 2007, suing her for having invented the possession story .

According to a note published in 2007 in Newstime , Carl was suing Lorraine and the writer Gerald Brittle for the novel "The Devil in Connecticut" , in which the Glatzel Viacrusis was narrated. The eldest of the Glatzel declared that nothing of what the demonologist and the writer related was true: his younger brother (David) was not possessed, but suffered from a mental illness from which he was already recovered, he affirmed the same year of his demand .

Carl was one of the main detractors of the Warrens (who already had many) and the case of the devil in Connecticut, so he was not included in the account of the damages that we witnessed on the big screen with The Conjuring: The Devil. made me do it .

No matter how many and what have been the creative freedoms that the production of The Conjuring has taken in each of its cinematic installments, You will love The Conjuring 3 if you are a fanatic of the franchise.

'The Conjuring 3': Movie ending explained and what it says about the future of the franchise

'The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It' reached movie theaters and how to watch El Conjuro 3 online gratis, so here we resolve possible doubts about that satanic ending and theorize about the possible extension of the universe.

The end of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It  Again sees Ed and Lorraine Warren triumph, but at what cost? The new installment of the cinematographic universe of The Conjuring  finally saw the light and you can enjoy it from now on on the big screen.

The continuation of the Warren story proved its bravery by challenging the mold from which this universe had been built; This time the adventure of the demonologists does not end when the exorcism is carried out, but they will go to court to verify the existence of the paranormal. If you already saw it and you have some doubts about the outcome, in this note we will solve them all.

The film ends with Ed (Patrick Wilson) destroying the altar of the satanic priestess (Eugenie Bondurant), who had promised three souls to the devil: one of a little boy, one that would be achieved with the suicide of someone and another that was a servant of God. As the priestess could not get one, the devil appears before her and the demonologists to assassinate her and take her soul .

In The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It , Ed and Lorraine join the defense of the case of Arnie Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi O'Connor), accused of murder, to verify that the young man was not really him when he murdered Bruno, rather, he was under demonic possession.

To ensure that Arnie is not given a life sentence, Ed and Lorraine are dedicated to reviewing the history of the Glatzel family from the first moment that David showed signs of possession, discovering that the demon did not appear alone, but that was invoked by a satanic sect that left a powerful totem under the house .

This leads demonologists to trace clues among other cases that have details of Satanism, which eventually leads them to the case of two best friends who lived near the Glatzel; one of them was murdered and the other remains missing. As long as the police allow them to analyze the case file, the Warrens agree to find the missing girl. Shortly after finding her, they agree that whoever has cursed those girls is also responsible for cursing the Glatzel family .

Although the demonologists destroy the altar that was located under the house of the priest Kastner, and that belonged to the daughter that he secretly had with an unnamed woman, in  the end they fail to prove Arnie's innocence, but they do prevent him from give life imprisonment . While Ed and Lorraine return home to find that Ed has recreated the kiosk where he and the spiritist kissed for the first time.

THE FUTURE OF 'THE CONJURATION'
Times move fast, and after an absence of content on the big screen, audiences are eager to return to theaters to experience new stories. The Warrens have already established themselves as a favorite in the commercial horror genre, and we wouldn't be surprised if they decided to extend their universe.

Although there is no official statement yet, Ed and Lorraine Warren handled several cases involving demonic possessions or paranormal appearances, many of them could become potential screenplays.

For example, the story of the Union Cemetery is still pending , in which Ed claimed to have seen the ghost of The Woman in White and even said he had captured it on screen. The demonologist wrote a book about that encounter. Another case of the Warrens that we would like to see on the big screen (preferably IMAX) is that of the Smulr family in Pennsylvania. According to the demonologists, the family home was inhabited by four different demons who, in addition, had sexually attacked the owners of the home .

Yes OK The Conjuring: The devil forced me to do it has no post-credits scene that could predict a future expansion of the universe, the real stories of the Warrens could continue to work so that  James Wan and company satisfy the wide base of fans that have been done over time.
