The city that never fails to impress-The Pink City!

This one city in India, which keeps people calling back to itself, no matter how many times one has visited, is none other than Jaipur, The Pink City, capital of Rajasthan. The city has a colourful soul in it. Jaipur may be known as the pink city, but there are hundreds of colors that can be seen by a person who just enters in this city. Here, colours are not being mentioned just visually, but the people with their warmth, the blissful forts to gaze at, and heavenly delicious food to hog onto, create a virtual rainbow in the minds of people who soak themselves into the air of Jaipur.

Jaipur has an abundantly huge list of “things to do”. The city has an eternal history of the Rajputs and their valor which led to the beautiful edifices and forts. These are one of the main attractions of this city. The fort that is a Magnum Opus in itself is The Amer Fort. Its structure, its walls, its cannons, actually with every stone or boulder it is made up of, spell out the brave stories of the past themselves.

Apart from The Amer Fort, people who come to the city for some amazing experience to indulge in some great sightseeing and food, there are a great number of budget hotels in Jaipur which offer great accommodation with great rooms, fine service, and warm hospitality. Other touristic spots that create a magnetic effect for the people who come to Jaipur are The Hawa Mahal, The City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, The Jal Mahal etc. The Jal Mahal can be called as one of the most beautiful palaces, perched right in the center of a huge lake. It is without a doubt the ultimate view for the eyes. The Nahargarh Fort was always a touristic spot of Jaipur. But it became more popular after people got to know that some of the major scenes of the movie Rang De Basanti had been shot there. Apparently, anything that the Bollywood touches becomes gold!

Good hotels to stay in can be easily found near the airports and railway stations. But some hotels near the bus stand in Jaipur are found to be very good. The hotels here are one of the favourites of all the tourists who come to visit Jaipur. It serves in both ways. As the hotel is near to the bus stand, it saves time (if coming by bus) and the other thing is that they are right in the middle of the city, thus, all the other major attractions of the city are nearer too.
