The best UI practices for the web design

by Alex John Author

Web design in Ottawa is the way to create and learn about the e-marketing of the products that you need to sell online. It is the process of changing the website into a purely informational business tool. Your sales will boost itself more if you can optimize your web design and encourage more visitors to visit your website in less time.

Here are some of the key principles that you should follow to increase the rates of conversion and get the most out of the traffic that you have every day.

  •         Use some directional cues to direct your visitors to the form

Directional cues are the ways of a design where it directs the users to complete the ongoing action. You can use anything like videos, photos, shapes, or some form of text that matches your style of conveying messages.
Our lives are fully dependent on the messages we get and directions we are pushed to follow. The most influential are the arrows which are the most eye-catching form of directions.

  •         Use contrasting colors to make your form stand out of the whole UI of the webpage

Using different colors on different parts of your website will help the users to focus on the things you really want them to focus on. Selecting the contrast is sometimes the hardest part, so always place a primary and complementary color together that would make the actual object stand out. The brightness also needs to be differently set as like, using a light color contrast over a darker one

  •        The Action Button should stand out
the action button is the most important part of your website, it determines the conversion rate from a mere visitor. It has to be appealing enough for it to stand out from most of the things on the website. According to the web design Ottawa, the size of the button should not be big to spoil the UI and smaller to go unnoticed. It should be of the exact good size complemented with a contrasting color for it to be a good enough notice

  •         Make the form of the title an easy read

The only thing you need to understand from this is to make your user understand what will they get after the signup and the benefits that they will derive from it

  •         Make the form easy and short

Use easy labels from the very start like name, last name etc. If a field is confusing then that needs to be said as an example inside the box, like, postal code- A2B 3CB etc. The mandatory fields need to be cleared with asterisk marks and explained below the form. You should also provide the user to have a social login for easier logins

The number of fields should be at the minimum and not increased to anything beyond what is required. You should always keep in mind that 95% of the users are not willingly providing you with their details so a longer one may bore them enough for them to leave it midway
