with the spectacular screen play and the way every minute detail was depicted
in the narrative. Though it is evidently understood that it is an animation,
and all though the realm in which the movie was crafted was virtual, the movie
did not fail to instigate the burning zeal in me to become a virtual design
expert. I don’t even know at that time whether it is mentioned as virtual design

The advent of mobile games made the spectrum much broader with the

What is the course all about?
The game design diploma comprises
of rigorous course work in designing a game, game art and developing a game.
The game design program introduces the students to the basics of the games
through the eye of technology and creative design. As the course structure
progresses, the students will witness modules ranging from 2D game development
to level design, physics and math for Artificial intelligence. The game design
course encompasses multiple elements of collaborative game design, audio and
visual design and critical analysis. At the end of the course, students have to
take up a MAGES guided project individually or collectively with a group.
Pre-requisites:
Generic: A burning desire for creation,
an inclination towards media and entertainment field, hard work as this
requires a lot of patience as minute details are incorporated and willingness
to work for result are the general elements one needed to pursue the course.
Age: The student should be of 16
years on the commencement of classes.
Academics:
For local students:
GCE A level or students with 3
GCE O level pass or certificate level or should have NITEC certification. They
can also have MAGES certification for admission into relevant course prior to
admission into the few diploma courses. Any exceptions for the basic program
are may be considered depending on the case.
For international students:
Since, the entrance needs are
different in each country; the general applicants must have completed 12 years
of secondary high school or academics equivalent to that.
