They are the corporate entrepreneur, the intrapreneur, the social entrepreneur, the lifestyle entrepreneur, the opportunist entrepreneur, and the visionary entrepreneur. Each type has a different focus and approach to business. 

1. The Corporate Entrepreneur:

This type of entrepreneur is focused on creating new businesses within an existing company. They are often responsible for developing new products or services, and they often have a lot of freedom to experiment and take risks.

2. The Intrapreneur:

Intrapreneurs are focused on creating new businesses within an existing company. They are often responsible for developing new products or services, and they often have a lot of freedom to experiment and take risks. However, intrapreneurs operate within the confines of an existing company, so they may not have as much freedom to make decisions or take risks as corporate entrepreneurs.

3. The Social Entrepreneur:

Social entrepreneurs are focused on using their businesses to solve social or environmental problems. They often have a strong sense of mission, and they often use innovative approaches to solve problems.

4. The Lifestyle Entrepreneur:

Lifestyle entrepreneurs are focused on using their businesses to improve their Smart Life Skills. They often have a strong personal connection to their businesses, and they often have a lot of freedom to make decisions and take risks.

5. The Opportunist Entrepreneur:

Opportunist entrepreneurs are focused on taking advantage of opportunities as they arise. They often have a lot of flexibility, and they often don’t have a lot of long-term plans.

6. The Visionary Entrepreneur:

Visionary entrepreneurs are focused on creating new businesses that can change the world. They often have a strong sense of mission, and they often use innovative approaches to solve problems.

What Type of Entrepreneur Are You?

Compare the various entrepreneurial types and then decide which one most closely resembles you. You have undoubtedly assumed several positions as you have owned and expanded your company. Every kind of entrepreneur has gone through this. But really, consider this:

  • Which role do you or have you played naturally?
  • Which stage did you most enjoy?
  • Which stage are you the best at?

There are no good or bad strengths, and you can compensate for your limitations by working with a group of people who have complementary core skills.

Based on where your key competencies lay, you are most likely to fit one or possibly two types of entrepreneurs as a company leader.

How can you become the type of entrepreneur you want to be?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the type of entrepreneur you want to be will vary depending on your individual goals and interests. However, there are a few things competitors Can Teach You to become the entrepreneur you want to be.

First, you need to have a clear idea of- 

  • What do you want to achieve?
  • What are your goals and aspirations? 
  • What are you passionate about? 

Defining your goals and passions is a critical first step in becoming the entrepreneur you want to be.

Secondly, You Need to Have the Necessary Skills and Knowledge. 

  • What do you need to Learn New Things Quickly in order to achieve your goals?
  • What are the skill sets required for your chosen industry? 

Arming yourself with the necessary knowledge and skills is essential for Successful Habits as an entrepreneur.

Finally, you need to be willing to put in the hard work. Becoming an entrepreneur is not easy, and it requires a lot of dedication and determination. If you are willing to work hard and put in the effort, you can achieve anything you set your Growth Mindset.

So, if you want to become the entrepreneur you want to be, start by defining your goals and passions, and then learning the necessary skills and putting in the hard work. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.
