The newly launched program is designed to make starting a business simple and convenient for teens. Because it’s held entirely online, you are able to learn the skills you need from the comfort of your own home.

It’s especially beneficial during the current lockdown climate where it’s harder for you to access the courses and development opportunities you need.

Target Evolution is a non-profit organization founded in 2011. Teen Biz Camp is hosted in four Texas cities, including Houston and Dallas, and has had over 500 student participants.

Now, the organization is expanding nationwide and has launched programs in California and Georgia. They have been awarded federal funding to launch an entrepreneurship program in partnership with Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas for at-risk and out-of-school youths.

The award-winning Teen Biz Camp program is the leading after-school program in Texas. Now, through the launch of this new online platform, teens nationwide are able to attend and get the help they need realizing their ambitions.

The program is based on an experiential learning environment called The LEAR Methodology. This stands for Learn, Earn, Apply, and Reward. It is a data-driven and evidence-based approach to education and entrepreneurship for youth that includes remote work experience, lean startup, and a pop up shop store.

By the end of the program, attendees will learn how to become an entrepreneur and discover products to sell to earn money now. In addition to this, they will have the chance to develop a network of mentors.

Other benefits include setup technology to automate their business and stay organized, Quickbooks for accounting, and expert legal advice.
