DOWNTOWN CHICAGO, FEBRUARY 21, 2019 -- Members of the Corporate Relocation Council of Chicago (CRC) have elected Suite Home Corporate Housing President & Owner Jennifer Breen to lead the organization as their next President. Breen assumed the role in January, 2019, succeeding CRC President Evan Miller, Director of Sales at RELO Direct, Inc. in Chicago.

The Corporate Relocation Council (CRC), a group that started in the late 1970s as a series of informal luncheons, aims to educate and empower today's global mobility professionals for optimal achievement. By providing timely and valuable industry and association communications, CRC of Chicago aims to foster a culture of continuous learning in the relocation industry. What started as an informal series of luncheons soon turned into a group dedicated to joining forces with other relocation specialists to ensure mutual education and growth for all members. The organization is proud to have celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2018.

Breen, who had served as the CRC Program Planning Co-Chair for the past two years, owns Suite Home Corporate Housing, Chicago’s premier luxury temporary apartment company. Suite Home offers fully furnished apartments with flexible lease terms throughout Chicagoland and Wisconsin, focusing on clients relocating into the Midwest.

“I am truly honored to have been elected to lead CRC in 2019,” said Breen. “I hold this organization in the highest regard, and look forward to spending the next year continuing to strengthen and grow CRC.”

Breen continued, “I follow in the footsteps of tremendous leaders, and hope I can build on the past 40 years of tradition, while also working with the current Board to put our own stamp on the organization. This nomination is truly humbling."

CRC hosted its first meeting of the year on February 12 at Wells Fargo in downtown Chicago. This "Charitable Causes" meeting is a half-day event focusing on raising funds for the organization's charitable partners - Kaleidoscope, Chicago Pet Rescue and Lulu's Locker Rescue. The organization welcomed over 150 attendees for a day of education and fundraising, and is proud to have raised $10,000.00 in donations for these charities. Future meetings will be held in June, September and November, with more details found on the CRC website (www.crcchicago.org)
