Stopping Smoking, How I did it

I was a smoker for 20 years before I found electronic cigarettes. I didn't even know ecigarettes were a thing until 2011, and before then I was picking up a packet of twenty marlboro per day, and if I was going on a night out then I would easily pickup a pack of 40 and burn through them during the night. Yes, I would give a lot away, but to think back on it I was smoking too much, I needed a solution.

The gums, patches, hypnotism never really worked for me, although I did try all of them a number of times. I even tried to stop smoking cold turkey a few times when the News Years resolutions came around but that never lasted.

So once I found that you could continue to smoke 'vape' it was a bit of a revelation for me. Unfortunately, at first it was the quick fix that I was looking for. I became what they know as a dual smoker. So I would smoke probably around 10 cigarettes a day, and then I would vape during time between cigarettes. My nicotine addiction was worse than I thought. I'd find myself spending more on vaping than I was spending on smoking, so it all became very expensive for me. However, I decided to continue with it as I associated vaping as being much healthier for me.

It actually took me 8 years before I stopped with the smoking entirely. What actually got me to stop entirely was the fact that Pod Vape Kits came onto the market, and combined with Nicotine Salts I had found a product combination that actually simulated smoking pretty accurately for me. I also found a website with the best UK Vape Deals that I had found on my search, so vaping became a lot cheaper for me, and couple with the device this all fit into place.

I am now spending probably about half of what I was spending before on 20 cigarettes a day, and I have consistency in the vape device.
