STOP! Before You Hand Over Your Money...

Good, I caught you before you got started. You've been looking for a program to join to promote. A lot of them look very promising. You're anxious and you want to make money fast like they say you can. An extra $1000 a month would be great in your bank account.  Yes, it would. But slow down!

The one thing they haven't emphasized or maybe even mentioned, is the fact that you're going to need high quality traffic to your affiliate link in order to make any money. You're going to need people wanting to buy into your program in order for you to make money. So, before you pull out your wallet and pay to join ANY program, you need to know ONE thing FIRST. Normally it means registering your own Internet Marketing related domain name, then get your own PAID hosting account. They're cheap, usually starting around $4-5 dollars a month. A .com domain name from GoDaddy is about $12. Next, you'll need to create a Lead Capture Page, or a squeeze page as they are frequently called. A Lead Capture Page is a single web page that contains a form where people can enter their name and email address, usually in return for a free product. When they enter their name and email address, that information is "captured" and sent to your autoresponder. An autoresponder is a program that saves the entries from your Lead Capture Page, then sends out messages you have created at set intervals. There are several good autoresponders on the market. Just Google the word and you'll come across quite a few.

Does all of this seem time consuming and above your pay grade? If you're a newbie, definitely. If you're an experience marketer, still time consuming. Doable, but who wants to take the time to write out all those messages? And what do you give away? Wait a minute, you just want to join an MLM product and get rich as quickly as possible.
