You absolutely cannot lose these documents while you travel because it's hard to get a hold of a new set. Keeping them in something like a ziplock bag gives you peace of mind knowing that you can see all your documents and that they won't get wet even if you drop them on the pool deck.

While you will be given printed copies of your cruise itinerary, it's always good to have it backed up on your phone. Aside from it being more convenient, you'll have the assurance of never losing your copy. When you know how your day is scheduled, it's easier for you to prepare for the activities.

Even if you have a set schedule given by the tour operator, it helps to prepare for your day the night before. Such as what you're going to wear, what you'll be putting in your bag, etc. Note that you don't have to follow the tour itinerary to the tee, so you're free to make your own schedule as you please.

Little things like what time you're going to shower or when you're going to the gym help you stay focused and grounded while you're on vacation. 

Going on vacation doesn't always have to be a stressful mess; just take little steps in organizing your daily routine on board.
