Every year SSC conducts the Stenographer exam to select candidates for the post of Stenographer under the Group C and D to fill the vacancies of various offices of government of India. The wait for the SSC Stenographer Result 2016 will soon be over as the SSC will be declaring the result in some days’ time. The examination for the same will be conducted on 31st January 2016 (Sunday) in the evening shift. The candidates who had filled the stenographer application form and taken the test on 31st January 2016 would be able to check the result very soon on the website of SSC. Those who qualify in the examination would be placed directly in the governmental offices as the Interview has been scrapped by the Government of India for the Group C and Group D posts. The candidates should check their result once it gets declared on the website of SSC and also by clicking the direct link provided at the website of Entrance Corner.
Vacancies to be filled through SSC Stenographer Result 2015:
SSC would be recruiting the candidates for the post of stenographer in two grades which are C and D with 50 and 1014 vacancies respectively. The vacancy detail is as follows:
A. Stenographer – Grade ‘C’ : Total Vacancies: 50
- Unreserved: 28
- SC: 05
- OBC: 09
- ST: 08
B. Stenographer – Grade ‘D’: Total Vacancies: 1014
- Unreserved: 642
- ST: 61
- SC: 113
- OBC: 198

What is the process to check the SSC Stenographer Result 2015?
The candidates should note that the Stenographer Result 2015 would be declared by the SSC on its official website and hence the candidates must know the procedure applying which they can download the e-hall ticket. The following instructions will help the candidates download their SSC Stenographer Result correctly:
- First of all, the candidates need to visit the official website of SSC which has been given here www.ssconline.nic.in
- Once you have accessed the website, find the link of the website which will read ‘Stenographer Result 2016’, click on the link
- Once the link is clicked, a new page will get generated, which will ask the candidates to provide certain information like the Application number and the password which they had received during the Application process.
- Once you click on the submit button, the Result sheet would get downloaded.
- Print the Result sheet and keep it safe for further usage.
