A healthy dose of nutrition comes with the spinach salad. While it might seem too healthy and not yummy enough, the fun elements make this salad stand out. You can even use this in sandwiches or serve it as a side with a burger for that extra boost of goodness. Plus, it’s so easy to make and takes such little time, you will want to keep the ingredients handy all the time. You can replace the spinach with baby spinach if the taste isn’t appealing to kids. 

To make the spinach salad, you will need:

2 bunches fresh spinach, roughly chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup walnut chopped
Sumac
Salt to taste
al alali ground white pepper to taste
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoons EVOO

Step 1: Wash the spinach and place in a colander to dry.

Step 2: In a small bowl, mix the EVOO, lemon juice, sumac and salt. Mix thoroughly to make a dressing. 

Step 3: In a large bowl, take the spinach, add the walnuts, onions and pour the dressing over this. Toss the salad gently with two spoons and serve. You can add orange slices to this salad to make it interesting.
